๐ง WHAT IS A RALLY?
A rally = a team attack (or defense) where one player leads and others join.
-
๐งจ Offensive Rally: Hitting PvP targets (like castles) or PvE bosses (like Cesares, Bear Hunt, Terrors)
-
๐ก๏ธ Defensive Rally: Holding a building or garrison together when under attack
You are either:
-
๐ The Rally Leader โ runs the show
-
๐ค A Rally Joiner โ supports with troops and one skill
๐ RALLY LEADER โ THE CORE OF THE RALLY
You’re the heart of the rally. If your setup is weak, the entire rally is weak โ no matter how good your team is.
โ WHAT THE LEADER CONTRIBUTES:
-
๐ช ALL Buffs Apply:
-
Combat research ๐
-
Governor gear ๐ฝ
-
Charms ๐งฟ
-
Pet bonuses ๐ฒ
-
Skins, frames, island decorations ๐ฐ
-
Consumables ๐
-
-
๐ฆธโโ๏ธ ALL Hero Skills Apply:
-
3 Expedition skills
-
+1 Hidden skill from exclusive gear
-
๐ก Hero order doesnโt matter โ all 4 apply!
-
-
๐น Your Own Troops
-
Must send at least 1
-
Can send up to your full deployment capacity
-
๐ฅ Troop tier matters, higher tier = stronger base stats
-
-
๐ง Rally Capacity
-
From your Command Centre ๐๏ธ
-
Sets the troop limit for how many joiners can enter
-
-
โ๏ธ Troop Composition Affects Simulation
-
Balance of Infantry ๐ก๏ธ, Cavalry ๐, and Archers ๐น changes combat outcome
-
โ LEADER TIPS:
โ
Use high-tier troops โ they benefit most from your buffs
โ
Pick 3 heroes that bring powerful, stackable team-wide effects
โ
Check the Rally Info Panel (in War tab โ rally flag)
โ
If someone messes up (wrong troop type, bad hero skill) โ you can KICK them
โ
Donโt lead if your buffs/heroes are bad. Let someone stronger take the lead!
๐ค RALLY JOINER โ YOUR ROLE & HOW TO NOT RUIN THE RALLY
You might think you’re just sending troops… but you also bring one skill, and if itโs wrong, you can mess up the entire rally ๐ฌ
โ WHAT YOU CONTRIBUTE:
-
๐ช Your troops (march size and tier matter)
-
๐ฆธโโ๏ธ ONE Hero Skill Only:
-
Only the first hero slotโs top-right expedition skill counts
-
This hero has a green flag = your Hero Captain
-
That top-right skill is your Priority Expedition Skill
-
-
๐ Your 2nd & 3rd heroes = only used to increase troop limit โ they donโt provide buffs
โ WHAT YOU DONโT CONTRIBUTE:
-
โ No gear buffs
-
โ No research
-
โ No pet/skin/consumables
-
โ No extra skills โ only that ONE skill is used
-
โ Your own buffs donโt apply โ only the leaderโs do
๐งช RALLY SKILL SELECTION (How Your Skill Gets Picked)
The game picks only 4 skills total from all joiners โ and it does so automatically.
๐ HOW THE GAME PICKS:
-
Checks the top-right skill of your first hero
-
Compares it to other joinersโ priority skills
-
Chooses 4 highest-level skills (not heroes โ just skill levels!)
-
If there are more than 4 at the same level, the game takes the earliest 4 joiners
โ ๏ธ BUMPING LOGIC:
If someone joins later with a higher-level skill, they bump out a weaker skill โ even if that player joined earlier!
It doesnโt matter how strong your hero is โ only that skill level counts.
โ HOW TO AVOID BUMPING MISTAKES:
-
โ So what happens if someone joins with a higherโtier hero but their first skill is lowerโlevel?
-
Their hero tier (how โstrongโ the hero is overall) doesnโt directly matter for this selection โ what matters is the level of that first expedition skill of the first hero slot.
-
If their first skill level is lower than the current topโ4 skills, they will not secure a slot.
-
If their first skill level is higher than someone whoโs already in the topโ4, they can bump that person out.
So yes โ even if a later joiner has a โstrong heroโ but their first skill is lower level, they will not bump someone who has a higher first skill. Itโs all about that specific first skill level for joiners.
-
๐ WHICH HERO SKILLS STACK?
Some hero skills stack โ others do not. And some of the strongest ones will be ignored if someone brings a duplicate that doesnโt stack.
๐ข SKILLS THAT STACK (Good to send more than 1):
-
Chenko โ Lethality +%
-
Yeonwoo โ Lethality +%
-
Amane โ Attack +%
๐ด SKILLS THAT DO NOT STACK (Only one will apply):
-
Marlin / Zoey / Petra โ Enchant-based buffs
-
Jabel / Helga โ Chance-based buffs
๐ GOOD HEROES TO SEND AS JOINERS
๐ฅ For OFFENSIVE RALLIES:
-
Chenko, Yeonwoo โ Lethality Boosters
-
Amane, Hilda โ Attack Boosters
๐ก๏ธ For DEFENSIVE RALLIES:
-
Gordon โ Health +% ๐
-
Howard / Quinn (No Deferent) โ Damage Reduction
-
Saul โ HP + DEF buff
-
Fahad โ Enemy Damage Down
-
Eric โ Enemy Attack Down
-
โ ๏ธ Avoid chance-based heroes unless coordinated
๐ก๏ธ DEFENSIVE RALLIES โ HOW THEY REALLY WORK
This is where most players are confused. Defensive rallies (aka garrisons) donโt work exactly like offensive ones. Letโs fix that ๐
๐ฐ WHOโS WHO IN DEFENSE?
-
๐ Garrison Captain = Owns the building, invites reinforcements, and can kick players
-
๐ช Rally Leader = Has the highest stats (can be different from the captain!)
-
Leader provides all buffs, troop stats, and hero skills
-
-
๐ฅ Joiners = Same rules apply โ only the top-right skill of the first hero matters
๐ง KEY DEFENSE RULES:
-
The highest stat player in Garrison becomes the rally leader
-
The captain manages the troop limit and the invite/kick options
-
Joiner skill rules stay the same: only 4 total, picked by skill level
๐งฐ DEFENSE-ONLY TRICKS:
-
โ You can shuffle joiner order by changing the garrison captain โ useful to drop bad skills to the bottom without kicking
-
โ You can send another march to top up your garrison troops without removing your first
-
โ Troop priority = Infantry > Cavalry > Archers
-
โ Troop ratio for defence: More Infantry = better survivability
โ ๏ธ DEFENSE MISTAKES TO AVOID:
-
โ Letting an unexpected whale join last and hijack the leader role
-
โ Using offensive heroes in the defence rally (wrong buffs)
-
โ Weak troop tier or bad troop ratio
-
โ Letting weak or unstackable skills block better ones
-
โ Not using defensive skill heroes (Gordon, Saul, Quinn, etc.)
๐ฅ ADVANCED RALLY STRATEGY
๐ก Smart teams will do this:
-
First 4 joiners = all offence heroes
-
After capture โ shuffle joiners or captain โ switch to defensive buffs
-
Then reinforce with health/defence-focused joiners (e.g., Gordon, Eric, Quinn)
You hit hard ๐ then hold strong ๐
๐ฅ QUICK FIRE DOs & DONโTs
โ DO:
-
Bring high-level top-right skills
-
Join early only if your skill is strong
-
Use Inf/Cav/Archer balance wisely
-
Check the rally flag info tab!
-
Communicate and coordinate rally roles
โ DONโT:
-
Send weak or irrelevant hero skills
-
Join with low-tier troops
-
Assume your gear/research helps โ it doesnโt
-
Block good skills with bad ones
-
Join with โchance-basedโ heroes unless coordinated
๐งจ Offensive Rally Joiners Hero Priority
- Amadeus / Chenko / Yeonwoo
- Amane
- Hilde
The Heroes written in the same line, there is no difference between them in stats if they have the same skill levels.
๐ก๏ธ Defensive Rally Joiners Hero Priority
There are no Stats and proof in the defensive section, and all are based on the other resources, and you can mix and match
-
Gordon
-
Howard / Quinn
-
Saul
-
Fahad
-
Eric
๐ FINAL THOUGHTS
๐ฏ Understand your role.
๐ฏ Use the right heroes.
๐ฏ Be the reason your rally wins โ not the reason it fails.
